Colwith Farm Distillery is Cornwall’s first and only ‘plough to bottle’ gin and vodka distillery. Come and see how, we transform the potatoes grown on our fifth generation family farm into award winning vodka and gin - then sample the produce straight from the source!
Whereas most craft distilleries buy-in mass produced ethanol, at Colwith Farm Distillery, everything is delicately produced from scratch on one single estate. Even the water used in the production process rises from an aquifer situated beneath the distillery. It is much more challenging, time consuming and costly to produce spirits this way - but we truly believe it's worth it.
We offer guided distillery tours and tastings, a gin masterclass and bespoke events. We also have a beautiful, upcycled tasting bar overlooking the picturesque countryside and a shop where you can enjoy free samples!
Our cosy retreat blends the warmth and character of a traditional inn with a stylish, contemporary ambience. Exposed oak beams, a roaring log fire and a natural spring hark back to the past, while vibrant art, a light-flooded conservatory and innovative dishes create a modern edge.
Once you’ve had your fill of country-pub food packed with local ingredients, retreat to one of our boutique bedrooms where you can soak in the bath and slip between Egyptian cotton sheets. Converted from the original barns, stables and hen houses to which their names allude, our accommodation features country-style furnishings, modern artwork and all mod cons. Dog-friendly rooms available on request.
Drink and dine in a cosy ambience; sleep in utter comfort. The Plume of Feathers is the perfect choice for a luxury break in Cornwall.
