After an introductory briefing you will have the amazing experience of feeding our meerkats as well as the opportunity to ask staff any questions you may have. You will have the opportunity to learn about these beautiful creatures.

The encounter will last approximately 30 minutes and the price includes Zoo admission for the participant. Please note that at no stage do you go in to the enclosure with the meerkats. This experience gives you the opportunity to learn about the animals, feed them and photograph them. Available to anyone aged 6+. Complimentary drink given.

Dartmoor Zoo

Dartmoor Zoo is set in 33 acres of beautiful parkland just 20 minutes from Plymouth. We have a fantastic collection of wildlife, including big cats, wolves, retiles, birds, meerkats, zebras and much much more!

Our restaurant serves hot and cold, drinks and meals and we can cater for all kinds of events up to 200 people including weddings. The zoo is open 364 days a year, (closed Christmas Eve AND Christmas Day 2020): 10am – 4pm. Last entry 2.30pm. Very occasionally the zoo may be closed due to extreme weather or other events, please check our website home page.
